Newells Travel has left the Global Travel Group to join Worldchoice.
The 11-strong agency chain, owned by Roger and Helen Hawke, employs 60 members of staff in Devon and Cornwall.
The miniple was a Worldchoice member several years ago before switching to Global in 2008.
Gary Lewis, chief executive of Worldchoice parent The Travel Network Group, said: “We are delighted that Roger and Helen are bringing their business over to Worldchoice.
“They operate a highly respected business across Devon and Cornwall and we believe we can add significant value to them in all areas of support we offer, but specifically with our marketing support and technology capabilities.”
Roger Hawke added: “We visited Gary and the team in Woking and really liked what we saw. The level of marketing and systems support available to us will take the pressure off our internal team and the passion and commitment that was demonstrated by the management team was impressive. We are very much looking forward to working with Worldchoice.
“We would like to thank Global for their support over the years. It wasn’t an easy decision to make but sometimes you have to make them.”
Newells joining TTNG comes months after Cruise118 and Barrhead Travel also joined the consortium.
