Thomas Cook’s merger with Carlson Leisure Group has led to a series of management changes at Sunworld’s product and commercial departments.
Sunworld product managers Andrew Bevan, Myles Hazebroek and Lorraine Hughes have been promoted to senior product managers while product executives Andrea Swan and Jackie Colvin are made product managers.
Sunworld has also appointed a number of new recruits. Stephanie Davies-Evans joins as product manager, Paul Bond as commercial manager, Richard O’Neill as commercial analyst and Simon Russell as general manager. All four previously carried out similar roles at the now-defunct operation Inspirations.
Thomas Cook UK tour operations product director Alan MacLean said: “Integration has brought significant growth in the product portfolio and the restructuring process has been focused on ensuring the product department is fully equipped to meet the additional demands of the operation.”
Three high-profile Carlson Worldchoice employees – managing director Chris Browne, head of buying Bruce Shepherd and Information Technology director Bill Donaldson have already left the company following the merger in March.
