Dundee airport is to gain its first international route with Flybe starting flights to Amsterdam.
The introduction of the service from May 23 comes with financial support from the government’s regional air connectivity fund.
One way fares on the route, which will be operated six times a week, start at £19.99, linking the Scottish regional airport with the Amsterdam Schiphol hub,
The regional airline is also adding a daily service to Lyon to its network from Manchester airport from August 1.
Flybe is also introducing its first flights on the continent with daily departures from Hannover to Lyon and Milan, also from August 1.
The airline described the expansion into Germany as “a clear indication of its mission to connect Europe with as many options for time-saving travel as it does across the UK”.
