The first series of travel agent roadshows are to be held by the Cruise Lines International Association (Clia) in Ireland.
Fourteen cruise companies are supporting the showcase events being held in Cork, Galway and Dublin in June.
The lines participating in the roadshows are APT River Cruises, Avalon Waterways, Celebrity Cruises, Cruise & Maritime Voyages, Holland America Line, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, SeaDream Yacht Club, Silversea, Tauck and Uniworld.
They are being joined by Clia executive partners Rocky Mountaineer and Airlynks.
The roadshows will take place in Cork on June 27 at the Ambassador Hotel, Galway on June 28 at the Radisson Blu Hotel and in Dublin on June 29 at the Hilton.
Each event starts at 5pm with agents being invited to a buffet dinner.
Clia Europe operations vice president, Andy Harmer, said: “It’s the first time travel agents will have had the opportunity to meet so many different cruise lines in Ireland in one place.
“We are very excited to be meeting both our members and those who may not be so familiar with the work undertaken by Clia.
“I’m delighted by the support being given by the 14 cruise lines which means agents will be able to broaden their knowledge and increase their expertise on a wide range of cruise holidays while being in just one location.”
