The co-founder of organic chocolate company, Green & Black’s, is to be guest speaker at next month’s Global Travel Group annual conference in Dubai.
Entrepreneur Jo Fairley will talk about how to create, launch and grow a company along with discussing the power of branding at the event on May 23-25.
Green & Black’s was started with £20,000 of Fairley’s own savings, and has grown into a brand worth $100 million worldwide in less than 20 years.
More than 190 agents are signed up to the three-day event at Atlantis the Palm.
Global Travel Group has shaped the conference schedule on agent and supplier feedback to ensure both get what they need from the event.
Sessions from social media expert Ginger Juice; email marketing experts, New Zapp; Andy Harmer, vice-president of Cruise Lines International Association Europe; and the founder of digital agency, Clicky Media are part of the line up.
Conference sessions will be split over two days with a ‘how to’ theme running across the event.
Speed dating has been doubled with sessions running over two afternoons, providing agents with opportunities to network.
Global Travel Group managing director, Andy Stark, said: “We’re confident that this year’s conference line up is the strongest yet.
“It’s key that everyone not only enjoys what is set to be a fantastic few days in Dubai but also takes home practical advice and new ideas to help them drive more sales in their own business. Watch this space for further announcements.”
Just a Drop is the official charity partner at the conference as part of the consortium’s ongoing relationship with the international water development charity.
