Regent names UK training and events manager

Kelly-Marie Gregg has been named as UK training and events manager for Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

She will work with agents – including national agencies, retail stores and homeworkers – to help them to maximise their luxury cruise business through dedicated consumer events at venues across the country.

Gregg will assist with venue selection, event management and also arrange exclusive cruise discounts and benefits.

Agencies will also profit from shared event costs, often seeing returns of at least two out of 10 event attendees making a booking with an average commission earning of approximately £1,200, according to the line.

Gregg previously spent five years at sea as assistant cruise director and other roles.

She has a total of 12 years’ experience in the travel and entertainment industry and is used to presenting to crowds of up to 2000 strong.

The luxury line’s head of UK sales, Paul Beale, said: “We are delighted to have Kelly-Marie join our team, her vast presenting experience along with her career at sea is an excellent platform to allow her to articulate the Regent Seven Seas Cruises proposition to potential guests.

“Kelly-Marie will be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for sourcing, booking and hosting events for our agent partners’ guests to showcase why Regent is the most inclusive luxury experience.”

Gregg said: “I cannot wait to meet our agent partners and start helping them plan and host fabulous customer events at beautiful venues throughout the country”.
