Private jets take off for andBeyond

Private jet expeditions have been added to the andBeyond portfolio offering exclusive experiences across Africa.

The privately-guided tours take a maximum of 12 guests and use planes such as the Embraer 145 or Pilatus PC12 for the international flights.

These accommodate small groups of families comfortably with a living area that has sofas in it.

To access more remote areas turbo-prop fixed wing aircraft and helicopters such as the Bell 407 will be used.

As one would expect from private air travel, guests avoid airport queues, get VIP assistance, and use private terminals, customs areas and baggage claim areas.

The trips give clients a behind the scenes glimpse at African conservation, politics and history as they will meet people who have played significant roles in the creation of modern Africa.

They’ll also visiting ground-breaking wildlife and conservation projects and community initiatives on these carbon neutral trips.

Chief executive Joss Kent said: “To coincide with andBeyond’s milestone 25th birthday, we have spent over a year crafting the journey of a lifetime, highlighting all the African destinations where andBeyond operates,

“We have used our extraordinary safari lodges and camps, as well as the wealth of expertise that we have access to through our private specialist guides and ground logistics teams, to create an adventure unlike any other.”

There are three set departure itineraries with dates chosen to include the seasonal highlights of each destination. These trips include the Africa and Beyond programme which is a 19-day adventure through East and Southern Africa costing £80,960 per person.
