TRAVEL Weekly editor Jeremy Skidmore has been named Reed Business Information Editor of the Year (weekly titles) 1998. RBI is Travel Weekly’s parent company and has 55 business newspapers and magazines.
The judges said Skidmore had shown great energy and enthusiasm, made many improvements to Travel Weekly and helped push up the title’s average issue readership.
Skidmore said: “It’s great news and I’m very honoured. But I’m lucky because we’ve got a great team at Travel Weekly and the award is really for them as much as for me.”
