Trafalgar sales chief Julie Brooker to step down

Trafalgar UK & Ireland’s head of sales Julie Brooker is to leave the company at the end of this week.

Brooker joined the escorted tour operator in 2014 after working at Virgin Atlantic for seven years where she was head of national sales.

Brooker said: “I’ve had a great time working for Trafalgar and feel we’ve made great strides in the last two years to increase awareness of both the brand itself and what the brand stands for.

“Now I’m ready for a new challenge and after nearly 20 years in sales, I’m ready to start exploring my own business interests.”

Chief executive of Trafalgar, Gavin Tollman, said: “I’d like to thank Julie for her commitment and accomplishments during her time at Trafalgar, helping to build our brand in the UK market as being synonymous with delivering excellent service, expertly-crafted itineraries and memorable moments that our guests cherish for years to come.

“We wish her well as she moves on to other opportunities and look forward to making an announcement about a replacement in the coming weeks.”

Trafalgar is in the process of recruiting Brooker’s replacement.
