Having just returned from the Swiss Travel 50th year celebration in Interlaken, I feel compelled to comment.
In 30 years in the industry, I do not remember an event where the organisation and genuine concern for guests reached such a high level of excellence.
Organising 550 agents and guests around mountains, across lakes and down white water rivers is no mean feat, particularly when the majority are from within your own trade group.
The guests were drawn not just from travel agents or people who might be commercially useful. The group comprised many retired people who had worked with the Bridge group over the years. Both myself and several fellow travellers had initial flight difficulties, and we were all given a superb level of help.
AlanCroft and his team were all smiles all the time. At 1am in the Oberland Hotel after litres of booze came saucers of aspirin. It doesn’t get slicker than that.
To Richard Dupius and his very fine team I can only say the industry should aspire to your level of warm, efficient and friendly service.Well done!
