Self-styled ‘super budget’ chain easyHotel today confirmed the go ahead for a new hotel in Ipswich.
The company has been granted planning permission for a 94-room property at 3-5 Northgate Street in Ipswich.
“EasyHotel’s purchase of the freehold of the building is expected to complete in the coming weeks,” the company said.
The hotel is expected to open in September 2017.
The group also has plans for new hotels in Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham.
It currently owns UK hotels in London Old Street, Glasgow and Croydon and has franchise properties in Edinburgh, Heathrow, London and Luton.
