Workplace reviews site WorkAdvisor is seeking entrants for its Travel Employer of the Year awards.
Staff from any travel business can anonymously rate and review their employer on the site under five measures, including motivation, career development, job security, sociability and ‘recommend to a friend’.
The highest scoring employers in each category will win and the company which receives the best overall score will take home the Travel Employer of the Year award.
The winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony in central London in December.
All winners will receive a trophy, press coverage and the rights to use the accolade of Travel Employer of the Year 2016 in their marketing materials.
To encourage more reviews, WorkAdvisor is also offering a monthly £500 prize in August, September and October to the reviews that best inform jobseekers about that business.
Founder Philip Price said: “Unlike the majority of awards in the travel industry which are nominated and then voted on by peers, the winners of these awards are based purely on the views of the people who really know – the people who work there”.
“We let people know what it’s like to work in the UK travel industry and travel companies are keen to win this award as it can be a key element of their employer branding”.
