UTELL International has developed a seamless link to the Sabre and Galileo global distribution systems.
The move gives agents direct real-time live access to Rezsolutions’ central reservations database from the Sabre Direct Connect Availability and Galileo Inside Availabilityproducts.
Agents previously have had to rely on information downloaded at intervals from the Rezsolutions database into the GDS. The seamless link also gives agents more comprehensive information about room types and access to discounts and offers.
Development of the link follows a 13% increase globally in GDS reservations through Utell International in 1998 compared to the previous year.
Utell is the reservations and marketing service of parent company Rezsolutions.
