Brand USA, the destination marketing organisation for the United States, has released four new destination badges on the USA Discovery Program – the official travel agent training platform for the United States of America.
The new bespoke badges have been especially developed to provide users with further information on Nevada, Greater Palm Springs, Tri-Valley and San Diego. Each badge provides an overview of the destination, with in-depth sections focusing on accommodation, food and drink, nightlife and must see/must do experiences.
The new badges join a host of existing ‘Extra Learning’ materials available on the site, as well as 10 experiential specialist badges, including Music, Culture & Heritage, Fly-Drive and the Great Outdoors.
The USA Discovery Program continues to develop new content to ensure agents in the UK and Ireland continue to expand their knowledge, with even more new destination badges due for launch over the coming weeks; these are: Florida’s Paradise Coast, Visit California, Universal Hollywood, Texas and North Dakota.
Members of the USA Discovery Program can also take advantage of the unique Knowledge Forum sharing facility, as well as the Itinerary Inspiration page which holds a number of week-long suggestions based on previous MegaFam routes.
In celebration of the new additions, an incentive to win one of two state of the art GoPro cameras is currently running for any user who passes the Regional Expert badge by 31st October. The first badge that all agents must take to become certified USA Specialists, the Regional Expert badge, provides agents with a robust overview of the nation and its territories.
