Crystal Ski and Thomson Lakes & Mountains managing director Tamsin Todd is to leave the business at the end of this month following the transition of the brands to the mainstream Tui group.
Chris Logan, currently head of Tui’s Irish businesses, will take over the reigns as managing director on September 30.
Crystal Ski and Thomson Lakes & Mountains have historically been part of the group’s specialist division, recently renamed Travelopia as part of its sell-off by Tui.
Travelopia, which includes more than 50 brands, is currently up for sale in a process expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year.
The Crystal Ski and Thomson Lakes & Mountains brands are being retained by Tui and in the process of being moved across to become part of the group’s mainstream business.
Todd has led the Crystal Ski and Thomson Lakes & Mountains businesses for the last three years and introduced innovations including the Ski Explorer app.
Andrew Flintham, commercial director of TUI UK and Ireland, said: “I would like to thank Tamsin Todd for her hard work and dedication over the last three years and would like to take this opportunity to wish her every success in the future.
“Tamsin has been integral to the smooth transition of Crystal Ski into TUI UK & Ireland. It would have been much more challenging without her great support to both the project team and our Crystal colleagues.”
Logan, who joined the group in 2009, has been head of Ireland since February 2015, overseeing the Falcon, Thomson and First Choice businesses.
Prior to that he was head of property and portfolio change, and between 2009-2010 he was general manager for groups and weddings.
