A new online agent training platform for activity and adventure holiday operator Exodus Travels has been developed.
Online Travel Training (OTT) previously held the training programme account.
However, Exodus switched to communications agency Black Diamond “after seeing what the company could provide in terms of both a flexible and scalable online training solution”.
The www.exodus-expert.co.uk website aims to provide agents with an overview of the specialist travel company plus details of specialist touring sectors, such as walking, cycling, cultural, wildlife holidays and family adventure holidays.
Each topic has an accompanying module, or ‘badge’, which agents will need to pass to ensure an understanding of the breadth of the company’s holiday offerings, as well as assisting regional trainers.
New badges will be added to the site in order to maintain engagement with agents.
An in-house training platform has also been built to enable Exodus tour leaders to enhance their knowledge and maintain customer and safety standards when hosting tours.
UK agency sales manager Dan Jackson said: “Working with the digital team at Black Diamond has been a real breath of fresh air; they took the time to really understand our brand, product and what we wanted from a system at the beginning, so the build was surprisingly quick and smooth.”
