Balkan Holidays adds new Slovenian resort

BALKAN Holidays has added the Slovenian mountain resort of Kranjska Gora and four city-break destinations into its 1999/2000 winter programme.

Slovenia, where the company features Lake Bled and Kranjska Gora in summer, makes its first winter appearance with the operator for five years. Prices start at ú343 for seven nights’ half-board.

Managing director Nicky Antonov said:”Kranjska Gora is a natural development of our summer programme and will increase our winter capacity from 5,000 to 7,000.”

The operator has also added hotels in its other tried-and-tested resorts in Bulgaria – Borovets and Pamporovo. Prices lead in at ú230 for seven nights’ half-board in Borovets or ú399 over the millennium.

The new cities include Sofia, Bucharest, Ljubljana and Zagreb with three-night bed- and-breakfast breaks in Sofia from ú89 excluding flights.
