Tourist sightseeing pass specialist The Leisure Pass Group has promoted chief operating officer Tom Enraght-Moony as chief executive.
Current chief executive Darran Evans, who has led the business since 2002, will remain as chairman following the sale of the company to Exponent Private Equity in December.
The rest of the senior management and executive teams will continue in their roles, working closely with attraction sector partners.
Enraght-Moony joined The Leisure Pass Group in April 2016, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in leading business transformation and growth for tech-enabled consumer brands.
In nearly five years with Match.com as chief operating officer and then chief executive, he played an integral role in making online dating the mainstream consumer success story it is today.
Enraght-Moony said: “Since 2002 The Leisure Pass Group has been a true success story in both the travel and tech fields.
“I feel privileged to lead the company as we look to continue this impressive growth journey, and I look forward to working with our business partners to maximise our collective potential.”
Evans said: “The Leisure Pass Group is currently in a transformational growth phase as we accelerate the roll-out of our passes into new markets and leverage our mobile app to maximise business with our long-standing partners.
“Tom’s expertise in driving forward tech-based businesses will be invaluable to us as we begin the next stage of the company’s development.”
