JERSEYEuropean Airways has restructured its commercial operations in the run-up to an expected flotation.
The four divisional departments – passenger services, technical services, cargo and training – now have individual brands under the JEA banner.
Chief executive Barry Perrott said the new structure gives the airline a commercial focus.
The airline was looking at a winter float on the London Stock Exchange following the publication of its 1998/99 results in June.
“We were encouraged by British Regional Airline’s result, but the market still has a way to go,” said Perrott.
A JEA float is expected to give the airline an extra ú100m to fund new aircraft to launch additional routes.
Perrott indicated Ireland would feature in his plans and there would be new services to Paris. The network expansion will also involve building up routes from Glasgow and Belfast City.
