Festival Cruises is cutting fares on its Land of the Pharaohs cruise on board Flamenco by 45%. Prices for the 11-day cruise now start at ú590, a saving of ú483 on the brochure price.
n princess offers solar-eclipse package
Princess Cruises is offering a solar eclipse cruise on board Royal Princess, in August. Passengers will experience the eclipse while in Le Havre on August 10, during a 13-night Imperial Treasures cruise from Dover. The cruise also calls at Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg and Oslo. Fares start at ú1,845 per person.
n airtours ship to undergo refurbishment
Airtours’ new four-star ship, Sunbird, is in dry-dock in Birkenhead undergoing a multi-million poundrefurbishment prior tojoining the fleet in May. Refurbishment work will include creating ninepenthouse-style suites with private balcony andlounge area and a newbar.
