ITT behaviour led to walkout

As one of those who walked out of the Institute of Travel and Tourism’s extraordinary general meeting on April 12 (Travel Weekly April 19), I want to comment on the point made by Linda Gibson that no member asked in advance for a copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association.

The notice sent out to advise members of the EGM stated that a copy of these regulations would be available to members at the EGM prior to the meeting. However, none were provided. We were not objecting to the new proposals. What we do object to is the incompetence of the ITT’s management.
