Problems hit NCLvessel

THE DEBUT of Norwegian Cruise Line’s newly lengthened vessel Norwegian Majesty has been marred by problems involving plumbing, baggage handling and a small fire.

The difficulties occurred on a voyage from Boston to Bermuda, which was the ship’s first outing since the completion of renovation work costing $50m.

NCL executive director for the UK and Continental Europe, Bill Ellerington, admitted to experiencing problems but said virtually all had been solved before it departed on its second voyage.
