Bath Travel’s business division has taken on a twin-engine Piper Chieftain at Bournemouth International Airport to fly groups to destinations that may not be easily reached by scheduled services.
The company said many routes are possible but prime examples are Bournemouth to Nantes, Deauville, Manchester, Aberdeen and Shannon.
The aircraft, which is being offered in conjunction with charter firm Anglo American Airmotive of Bournemouth Airport, can seat 10 passengers.
Bath Travel head of business management John Plank said: “Busy executives these days need as little time away from their businesses as possible.
“For many of them, an inordinate amount of time is spent waiting in departure lounges, hanging around for connections or travelling to London airports. Scheduled services are sometimes simply notconvenient.”
