AIRTOURS International has agreed with investigators that two pilots failed to follow set procedures during an aborted landing attempt in the Dominican Republic.
The captain, who was demoted after the incident, and co-pilot took four attempts to safely land the ex-Birmingham Boeing 757 carrying 220 passengers.
Airtours said the Air Accident Investigation Branch report into the failed landing was fair and accurate.
