BRITISH Airways head of UK and Ireland sales Tiffany Hall will be guest speaker at the ARTAC Worldchoice conference in Birmingham in April.
Hall’s keynote speech on the first day of the conference, which takes place at the Stakis Birmingham Metropole Hotel fromApril 14-16, is expected to focus on BA’s decision to axe commission payments.
The timing of the conference coincides with BA releasing final figures of agents’ payment under the new proposals.
Meanwhile, Hall has appealed to Guild of Business Travel Agents chairman Don Lunn to help get discussions between the two associations back on track.
Last week, Lunn demanded BAdelayed its axing commission to give agents more time to adapt.
Previously, he said he backed the airline’s plans.
Hall said:”I am trying to get to the bottom of this. We have been working together for a long time on coming up with a solution and we have gone so far.”
