AVIS and British Airways will hold nationwide road shows during April to help travel agents promote the benefits of the tie-up between the two companies.
The campaign, called Absolute Bliss to echo the ‘A to B’ branding of the alliance, is aimed at emphasising the partnership.
Throughout April, an A to B branded Vauxhall Frontera and London taxis with A to B logos will be taking the road show team around the UK to deliver Avis and British Airways information and merchandising packs to travel agents.
They will also be explaining the product and service advantages of the partnership.
An Absolute Bliss promotion team, including masseurs, will also be calling on travel agents to “ease” their day.
Global account manager for the partnership, Sasha Cooper, said Avis had exceeded its car rental targets set for the first year of the alliance, but the operator needed to maintain the emphasis on making travel easier.
