SCOOT OFFERS AGENTS AN INTERNET BOOST


Information provider Scoot is offering agents with a Web site the chance to boost their contents by providing a free link into its directory of local bureaux de change, luggage shops and other travel-related services. The Partner Programme, a new Internet service, will work by agents simply encouraging visitors to their sites to click onto the link to Scoot’s site which can be found atpartner.scoot.co.uk


SYMANTEC LAUNCHES YEAR 2000 PACKAGE


Software supplier Symantec has launched a year 2000 problem solving solution package specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses. Norton 2000 addresses the year 2000 problems associated with data held on computers in the form of spread sheets, databases, financial packages and payroll systems.


CHAUNTRY APPOINTS BUSINESS MANAGER


Neil Hogarth has been appointed as business development manager for system supplier The Chauntry Corporation. Hogarth has previously worked for Forte and Queens Moat.
