Path to career: From 1955-1957 in the Royal Army Pay Corps. From 1957-58 held position of shipping clerk at Morrison Polixfen and Blair, Dundee. Joined FWWoolworth in 1958 as a trainee manager. Left in 1959 to join Munro’s Tourist Agency starting as chief clerk, progressing through to the position of manager and then went on to become a partner. Celebrated 40 years of working with the company on January 23 this year.
