ESTONIANAir is upgrading its business class this month by introducing ergonomically-designed leather seating.
It has installed the seats in two-three configuration on all of its 737-500 services, including flights from Gatwick to Tallinn, for the start of the summer schedule.
The move is the last phase of an upgrade which was started last year in its premium product, Blue Velvet Class.
In the first phase, it introduced a new in-flight meal service, new lounge facilities and ground service enhancements.
The new seats will have a cushion width of 19ins and a pitch of 33ins.
The airline operates six direct non-stop flights between Gatwick and Tallinn each week, excluding Saturdays.
An agreement with SAS, from May this year, sees Estonian joining the airline’s frequent flyer programme EuroBonus.
It will codeshare on flights linking Tallinn with Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.
