Stena Line revamps brochure to help agents

STENA Line has redesigned its Holiday Ireland brochure for 2000 to make it easier for agents to find their way around the programme content.

The ferry operator has also added more hotels in Dublin, taking the total number of properties offered in the city to more than 40.

Among the additions are the four-star Chief O’Neill’s in the Smithfield Village district and the three-star Quality Charleville Hotel in Rathmines Village area of Dublin. Prices in the city start from £98 per person bed and breakfast for two nights at the two-star Castle Hotel in Dublin including return ferry crossing.

Stena has also added more four-star self-catering holiday homes in the southeast and west of Ireland and increased the choice in Northern Ireland in anticipation of more traffic to the province.

There are four more hotels in Belfast and four in the country. Prices start from £127 per person bed and breakfast for two nights at the Clandeboye Lodge, near Bangor, including return ferry travel.

Irish Ferries has added three guided walking tours to its Ireland Holidays programme. Each tour, Kerry Gems; Connemara, Aran Islands and the Burren; and The Kerry Way, is for eight days and includes all meals.

Accommodation is in hotels or guesthouses and prices are from £486 per person for Kerry Gems including return ferry crossing.

The ferry operator is also offering new rail day tours from Dublin. There are 11, including a day out to Avoca, the location for the BBC series Ballykissangel, and The Ring of Kerry.

It also features two coach tours, city breaks in Dublin and Cork, river cruising on the Shannon and Erne and golf holidays.

Swansea Cork Ferries is featuring more than 17 self-catering holiday homes in the southwest corner of the republic in its Ireland 2000 brochure.

The ferry operator also offers ‘go as you please’ holidays based on Irish guest houses and hotels with prices from £134 perperson for three nights bed and breakfast including return ferry crossing with acar, and three seven-day self-drive tours with accommodation based on hotels and guesthouses.
