n Festivals celebrate grenada independence
Grenada is celebrating 25 years of independence this year with a series offestivals, events and concerts. From June 13-22, the island’s first international diving event, the Eco Dive Venture, sponsored by the Grenada Dive Association, takes place featuring a programme of water and land-based activities. Seminars, whale and turtle watching, kayak races and sunset cruises are also planned.
n old havana focus for interchange
Specialist Cuba operator, Interchange, has launched a second-edition of its brochure introducing the five-star Parque Central Hotel in Old Havana. Interchange is offering six nights’ bed-and-breakfast at the hotel for ú679, including Gatwick flights.
n MSC caribbean Cruise price slashed
Mediterranean Shipping Cruises has slashed its 11-night Caribbean cruise price to ú799, a saving of ú529. The cruise, on Melody, during March and April calls at the Florida Keys, GrandCayman, Jamaica, Costa Rica and Mexico.
