Destination Far East will launch a dedicated brochure for the region next month after finalising details at the Asean Tourism Forum which starts in Singapore today.
The new brochure will feature an expanded section on Indochina including Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, plus a brand new section on China with two, three and four-day tours to Beijing, Shanghai, Foshan, Guangzhou, Xian and Guilin.
A two-day tour incorporating Foshan and Guangzhou leads in at ú175, while a four night/five-day Cambodia tour visiting Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat starts from ú338.
Sales and marketing director Neil Gregory said: “We hope to build business to China on the back of Hong Kong.
“We are spreading our wings and may even launch programmes to India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and the Indian Ocean by the end of this year.”
Other destinations included in the programme include Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
“Year on year to date, the big success is Bali, followed by Thailand and more recently Malaysia,” said Gregory.
