AIRTOURS chairman David Crossland will be put on the spot in a face-to-face interview with TV presenter John Carter at the Independent Travel Agents’ Conference in the Algarve from April 15-18
Crossland will give his view on how the industry has changed and talk about what he would be doing if he was starting off again as a small independent in the north.
Other speakers at the conference include The Travel Liaison Group chairman Andrew Fletcher, who will speak on service and customer relations.

Travel Weekly editor Jeremy Skidmore will moderate a session with Douglas Goddem, head of Economic Policy Group at the Confederation of British Industry, who will answer questions on how the economy and the threat of recession will impact on the industry.
