n Leeds/Bradford starts arrivals project



Leeds/Bradford International Airport starts work on a ú6.7m arrivals terminal in April. Work will be completed by summer 2000 to give the airporta capacity of 2.5mpassengers.



n carnival chooses names for new ships



Carnival Cruise Line has chosen Conquest andGlory as the names of itstwo new 102,000tvessels, due to arrivein 2002 and 2003respectively. They will be sister ships to Carnival’s existing vessels Destiny, and Triumph, which is due this July.



n royal caribbean to build new sister vessel



Cruiseline Royal CaribbeanInternational has announced plans to build a second 85,000t vessel. It will cost $350m and be a sister to a 2,000passenger cruise ship already under construction. The first is scheduled for delivery in February 2001 and the second in June 2002.
