ABC launches inquiry after brochures dumped in skip

BROCHURE distribution company ABC is carrying out an investigation after a delivery meant for two agents was found miles away in a skip.

Around 160 brochures for a number of operators, including Cadogan Holidays, Jetset and Cresta, were found in a skip belonging to a Currys electrical store in Watford.

They were supposed to be delivered to Richards Travel in Wembley and a branch of Ickenham Travel Group, based in Ickenham.

The issue only came to light when Currys staff called Richards Travel owner David Wentworth asking why his agency was dumping its brochures on their property.

ABC clients services manager John Escott said the incident would be investigated and the brochures resent.
