n Hoverspeed boosts service for disabled



Hoverspeed has introduced a new courtesy bus service, designed to make lifeeasier for disabledpassengers. The service,transporting clients from Dover Priory railway station to Hoverspeed fast-ferry departure points, has alift, to help people with wheelchairs and thosewho find steps difficult.Provision for disabledparking has also been increased at the International Hoverport in Dover.



n Mechant ferries starts rapid irish route



Merchant Ferries has launched a service between Liverpool and Dublin, having invested ú75m in two new ships. The company is selling the service on quick crossings over the Irish Seacompared with travelling to Holyhead.



n National Express merges airport links



National Express has merged its two airportservices – Flightlink and Speedlink – to form a single airport coach company,Airlinks. Based at Heathrow, Airlinks isprojected to carry around 4.3m passengers annually. The company will continue to operate well-established brands such as Jetlink, Speedlink, Flightlink,Flightline, Woking RailAir and Hotel Hoppa.
