Panorama tries fresh look to update image

PANORAMA has redesigned its core Summer Sun and Tunisia second-edition brochures as it looks to modernise its image.

Newly appointed sales and marketing director Martin Young said it wanted to create a “fresh new face of Panorama.”

The revamp, which followed extensive consultation with agents, includes a simplified format with less text.

“We realised that agents and customers did not want wall-to-wall information,” said Young. “It looks brighter and livelier and reflects the way Panorama is going.”

Young stressed the image change was not influenced by its new parent Airtours. “We realised we had to do this well before the takeover,” he said. “Airtours is simply letting us get on with running the business.”

The Brighton-based operator has included Tabarka in Tunisia for the first time, a recently developed resort on the Northwest coast. Three hotels are featured with flights direct from Gatwick.

Prices lead in at ú179 per person for seven nights’ bed and breakfast at the Hotel Les Citronniers in Hammamet.

In Summer Sun, a Panorama Collection of recommended properties has been introduced ranging from two to five star.

New features include pre-bookable aircraft seats and airport hotels while flights have been introduced from East Midlands.

Early-booking discounts in both Summer Sun and Tunisia include ú100 off per couple.
