THE Advertising Standards Authority has upheld a complaint by British Midland against its rival British Airways.
British Midland claimed a BAposter at Belfast airport which read:”The Shuttle. More frequent than anyone else, guv”, wrongly implied that BA offered more services between Belfast and London.
BA said the advert refered to the overall greater frequency of its Shuttle service between London and Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh but agreed to remove the poster.
