Breckner was also critical of rivals, particularly Hayes and Jarvis, which he accused of increasing capacity and then discounting heavily.



Hayes and Jarvis declined to comment.



Destination Red Sea had 160 people overseas at the time of its collapse and 100 due to travel last weekend. It had 2,000 forward bookings.



Destination Red Sea was a trading name of International Tourist Promotions. It also traded under the names Holiday Centre and Divers World. Destination Tunisia was planned for this summer.
