Ayscough Travel is offering a new insurance policy,underwritten by Bishopsgate Insurance, to meet the needs of the business traveller. The premium is based on air travel spend rather than being dictated by destination or duration. A single policy covers all travellers within one company and although a rough head count is required, the company does not have to give individual names. The insurance is being launched this week at Business Travel ’99.

Singapore Airlines has launched a new frequent-flyer programme, called KrisFlyer, which allows customers using all three classes on SIA and SilkAir to accumulate KrisFlyer miles and redeem them for free travel. Members who enroll before March and travel before July 1 are eligible for a draw to win a prizes totalling 1m miles of flying.
