Clive Wrattan has joined Qantas as corporate sales manager. He was formerly multinational business development manager for British Airways. The move is part of a programme designed to strengthen the alliance between the two airlines. Angus Wheeler, formerly Qantas manager of communications events in Sydney, joins BA as corporate account manger.
Tony Allerton has joined Malev Hungarian Airlines as sales and marketing manager UK and Ireland. He previously worked for South African Airways for 19 years and a brief spell with Gulfair.
The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, has appointed Chris Crowley as assistant director of sales and Shabnam Ghayour as junior sales executive. Crowley joins from Travel by Appointment as hotel contracts manager. Before that he was area sales manager with Libertel and Westin Demeure Hotels.
Emirates has appointed Narinder Singh as corporate sales executive, South, based at its UK head office in South Kensington, London. He was previously customer service agent and sales co-ordinator with Virgin Atlantic. At Emirates he will be responsible for liaison with business travel agents in central and southern England.
