BESTWestern Hotels UK chief executive Nigel Embry has resigned after nine years with the hotel consortium.
Deputy chairman Nick Swinscoe said Embry wanted to spend more time with his daughters in Australia and had felt he had achieved as much as possible during his time with Best Western. It is believed he will take up another position within the industry.
Chairman John Millican will take over responsibilities until a replacement is found.
