The BTO will launch the revamped version of its long-awaited Bahamas Tourism Institute in the next couple of months.
General manager Europe, Jeremy Bonnett said: “It’s taken much longer than we planned to get everything in place, but we wanted to get it right and I’m confident that we will be setting new standards in travel agent training when it’s ready to roll out.”
In addition to a completely restructured travel agent manual being produced, the institute is to release a brand new home study course in the form of a video, equivalent to level one of the three-level training scheme.
