WILLIAMS PROMOTED TO NEW EUROPCAR ROLE
Europcar has promoted national account executive Beverley Williams to national account manager, replacing Colin O’Keefe who has left after three years with the company. They were both members of the new UK travel trade team.
CAR QUOTE BOOKING SYSTEM GAINS POPULARITY
Executive Car Rental reports a surge of interest in its Car Quote booking system. It is being installed in Anglia Co-op’s six branches and Norwich Travel Centre’s four outlets this month, while Millington Travel in Leicester is taking the system in the spring.
CONNECT CAR RENTAL IMPROVES CLIENT CARE
Connect Car Rental has invested ú20,000 in a new telephone system. The improvements will guarantee clients a quicker response. The new system can manage up to 10,000 calls a day and will offer clients a call-back facility. The reservation office has also extended its opening hours to 7am-11pm daily.
