Bad business for Thomson?


THOMSON may be using its database to direct customers to “preferred agents” (Travel Weekly January 20). However, we were not amused when a client, who booked a Thomson holiday through us produced a letter from Deborah Merryfield, marketing manager, Thomson Preferred Agents. The letter recommended he book through a competitor. Abuse, illegal, unethical or merely untrustworthy?
