BACKCHATis sure that people from Luton and Dusseldorf are no more violent than anywhere else but one German airline does not take this view.
European Air Express has taken the extraordinary measure of being prepared for unruly passengers on its new Luton-Dusseldorf flight.
The airline is to show yellow and, if pushed, red cards to any customer who upsets the crew.
Managing director Peter Hauptvogel said he would not tolerate any high-spirited business passengers and would make sure that any merry-makers were banned from other airlines if they received the red card.
So passengers be warned – enjoy EAE’s German lager and wine with care.
