NORWEGIANCruise Line is expected to release two of its smaller ships, Leeward and Norwegian Dynasty, when their charters expire in October.
Executive director UK and Continental Europe Bill Ellerington said: “The two ships were scheduled to sail under the NCL banner until October. A final decision is still pending, but we are not planning on the ships being part of the fleet after that period.”
He said no itineraries had been scheduled for the ships after October, so no cruises would have to be cancelled.
Ellerington said cruises on the two vessels made up a small part of overall sales in the UK.
