AIRTOURS UKLeisure Group chief executive Peter Rothwell is to speak on what major companies look for when acquiring smaller operators at the Association of British Tour Operators to France conference in Toulouse next month.
Justin Fleming from Panorama Holidays, which Airtours bought last year, will speak about how to sell your company.
ABTOFchairman Warren Sandral predicted massive consolidation of the French market. “In five years’ time, there will be two to three major players,”he said.
Other speakers include Holiday Which? editor Patricia Yates who will discuss the complaints culture with Keycamp Holidays managing director Simon Tobin. TV Travel Shop’s Harry Goodman will talk about his venture and ABTAcorporate affairs director Keith Betton will talk about how to handle public relations. The conference takes place between March 26 and 29.
