Seligo unveils agent friendly directory

SELIGO has redesigned its accommodation directory for 2000 making it more agent friendly.

It now features bigger pictures, better descriptions of hotels and city maps showing the exact location of the individual properties. Seligo managing director David Cockerton said: “It’s important that agents are able to give their customers as much information as possible about the accommodation which is why we redesigned.”

More than 1,000 properties in 50 countries are featured, divided into European and Mediterranean resorts, European cities, US and Canada and long-haul. Hotels in Zurich, Bilbao and Santander in northern Spain have been added to the European cities section, bringing the number of cities featured to more than 43.

According to Cockerton, European city properties are performing 32% ahead of the previous year, a result that Cockerton attributes to the improved value for money offered by the low-cost airlines.

Accommodation in Paris starts from £26 per person, per night, or from £6 in Cyprus.

As a booking incentive for 2000, customers receive discount shopping vouchers when they book accommodation in specified cities including Boston and Paris.
