THEINSTITUTE of Travel and Tourism has chosen insider Brian Leeder as its new executive director.
Leeder currently holds the position of company secretary on the ITT’s board of directors, but he intends to step down following his appointment.
He will also leave his job as sales and marketing manager at technology supplier Metafour.
Travel Weekly exclusively revealed Leeder was a front- runner for the job last week.
He replaces Linda Gibson, who resigned as ITTchief executive after losing a racial discrimination case brought against her by a former staff member last year.
